Ester Duarte
Ester was born and grew up in Copenhagen. In 1999 she came to Berlin. Since 2001 Ester is travelling as a dancer and teacher throughout of Europe.
In her dancing collaboration with Chiche she brought in experiences from various teachers in Europe and Argentina. In the last years she delved intensively into the role of the woman in the Villa Urquiza style.
She has a profound musical education which she transmits in her artistic and pedagogical work. Her work is also influenced by certain body techniques like Alexander Technique, Pilates and Gyrotonic-Training. Since 1993 Ester practices Alexander Technique as a student of Mary McGovern, who was educated by Walter and Dilys Carrington.
